how do i find the installation and all the errors i get in the system . i am using debian. i suppose there is a file which records all the errors.and boot-up installation screen is also getting saved. i wanted to know that also.
How has your installation gone wrong? Please explain yourself properly because it's quite hard to understand what you want to do.
Try following this guide to help you with the installation, or if not go for a simpler distro (like Mandriva or OpenSUSE) until you get the hang of Linux.
thanx for your respond. what i meant is. when u install debian u get all sort of messages right. those installation messages are stored in a file right. I want to know that file name. and when the computer bootsup all the bootup messages are stored in a file too. i want to know the name of that file.
