Linux drivers for Linksys AE1000 Wireless USB Adapter

The Linksys AE1000 Wireless-N USB adapter installs in Windows and MAC, but not, apparently, in Linux. Does anyone know how to work around this?

It'd be helpful to know what kind of chipset is in the device. Can you run "lsusb" as root (or "sudo lsusb" if you're using Ubuntu as your profile suggests) and post the output here?

I'm using a Gigabyte motherboard, model GA-MA785GMT-UD2H. It has an AMD Phenom II x4 965 CPU

running sudo lsusb gives the following: bus 001 device 002: ID131b:002f Linksys
