Linux driver for ECS K7S5A motherboard needed

Hi there,

I just built a PC with an AMD CPU + ECS K7S5A mobo with an onboard LAN. I installed Windows 2k on it and networked it (using the onboard LAN) with a RH linux 7.1 PC box, which is connected to the cable modem.

My home LAN works fine. But when I installed RH Linux 7.1 on the new PC, the onboard LAN was not detected.

Has anyone used K7S5A's on board LAN in linux? Please help me with this. Will the newest kernel support it?

Red face Mandrake 8.1 probably will do
Well......

My friend just tried it with Mandrake 8.1 and it worked!

Just tried the newest kernel 2.4.12, recompiled it to support the sis900 NIC (the K7S5A mobo onboard ), and it worked!!!
