Linux Clustering - How to

Hello everyone,

I am a newbie to LQ. I have read some of the other forums that are posted and LQ is definitely a reliable source for Linux related questions.

As for my question:

I would like to create a Linux cluster using three machines,

1. Host computer (Master)

2. Slave1

3. Slave2

I plan on using either Ubuntu Server Edition or Redhat.

Can someone please provide a detailed step by step instruction on how to accomplish this or provide me with an appropriate link?

hi scollura,

not all linux support clustering. i've used very old red hat adv. server 2.1,
and having very straight forward config with piranha. so - have a look at red hat's website.

HTH.
