Linux clients sharing a common printer connected to a windows box

Hi,

I am an HP LASERJET 3200 connected to a pc having win2k running on i.
I have shared the printer to all PCs on the LAN.
All windows macchines on the LAN can see and print, the linux clients also does see the PC but cannot use the printer.

Can someone tell me how to fix this issue ?

Thanks,

Sounds like a use case for samba (client). Are you already using it? If so, post the relevant parts of its configuration.

Can the (GNU/)Linux clients *see* the printer? Can the machines netcat to whatever port the SMB daemon uses?

Please be a little more specific about what you have done. Read ESR's `Smart Questions' if you haven't.

I doubt I can solve this for you, but at least I can get you started.
