Linux CD Live 6.2 Wifi setup on HP Pavilion labtop
 

Hello,
How do I setup Wifi on my labtop. When I run linux live cd on my desktop which is connected to my router, linux's pickup ethernet connection and connects fine to the internet. but on my labtop which is wireless to my router linux will not see my wireless connection. How do I configure linux to connect through wifi

What distro are you using? What is your wifi card?

Hello skykooler,

My wireless internal card is a broadcom 802.11 b/g. I have a external linksys wireless card that plugs into a card slot. I can access my wireless router though this card. I downloaded the linux ubuntu version. It will see my broadcom wireless internal card. but when it try's to install the drivers it fails. So I'm running through the external wireless plug in card at the moment.
