Linux box on Windows network

OK here we go,
I have a Linux notebook that I am integrating into my Windows wireless home network. I have 4 computers that live on the network 3 windows 1 Linux. I have Samba running on the Linux, but every time I want to log on to my Win Desktop it asks for Authentication. I have no users listed on any of the Win machines. All of the Win machines are booted with no passwords or limitations on what one could do (not the same for the Linux machine
I would like to view my network just as I did on my Win machines without any log in questions.

Mandrake 9.1
Gateway M500B1 Notebook
2.4 Ghz
512 ram
Integrated WiFi
Tungsten T3 Palm

Everything works but the Network needs some help.

By the way how to you listen to MP3 over the network through Linux Machine??

Thanks for any help

question 2, mount the win partition with the mp3s, and play them.

question 1, did you use samba password and user programs to create a user? and then you should still create a user account on the win machines...

Ok I have the MP3 problem solved and I reviewed what I did with samba and set up an user account on my Win box and now it works great. Thanks for the help.
