Linux as central account server
I was wondering if there was any way to set up a network of Linux PCs and have one PC store all user account info.
Sort of like the way Windows NT and 200x domains work. That way a local machine account wouldn't be needed to log in. Something like this would be a huge time saver on large networks. I understand that Samba will work this way for Windows clients, but I'm looking to do this with Linux clients. |
