Linux and Widows networking with LinNeighborhood

Ive been using LinNeigborhood to connect my Linux box and XP box together. I can see the LAN, computers, and shares. but when i try to open the FAT32 partition that i made to share. It gives me a respones that says "standard in must be a tty". Can anyone help me

check smb.conf to see if your share has the correct parameters. Also make sure that the partition you´re trying to share is already mounted.
