linneighborhood error

I ahve setup LinNeighborhood ok i think... I can see the other PC's anyway.
I can also see their shares but when i go to mount them I get this error:

"smbmnt must be installed suid root for direct user mounts (1001, 1001)
smbmnt failed: 1 "

What does this mean?
How do I correct it so i can view inside these folders on remote PC's?

did you setup samba to allow anyone to mount the shares?
Or leave it set to the suid that was default on the machine?

I don't know. Is it in the samba.conf, and where?
