Linksys WRT54G + GPL code...

I am considering buying a WRT54G since the option exists to run the little router with linux, GPL code as the linksys folks call it.

Anyways, reasons for looking into a new router is because I have a few public addresses that I need to utilize. Since it's possible to run IPChains with the GPL code, I'm wondering one thing. Is it possible to do one-to-one NAT with IPChains?

I know there are other routers out there that do provide this functionality. However, they are more expensive (I suppose if it comes down to it, I'll have to buy something). I'm also interested in playing around with the GPL code so I'm hoping my needs can be met with the WRT54G.

Thanks

Oops. I suppose I should have placed in the Networking forums. Sorry.

Moved to Networking. Next time when you make a mistake and post to a wrong forum, report the thread.

I think so. I was using one-to-many for quite a long time and modification to one-to-one is one parameter only.

Thanks. One to one nat is very possible. One just has to assign that 2nd/3rd/4th/etc IP to vlan1.
