Linksys for N00bs!

I am a complete and total n00b to linux and recently installed Mandrake 9 on my 2nd hard drive. On Win 98 i run on this hard drive I have a wireless usb linksys adapter for my internet connection. Is there anyway too get it to work with linux? I figure internet it the first thing I should try to get up and running, so I don't have to reboot to get to Windows everytime I need to ask a question! Also, I have a SB audigy 2, a Geforce4 Ti4200, and all the games that came with the distro run like molasses. Any suggestions for that? Thanks in advance!

Please do not double post. Its against the rules of the forum and leads to a lot of duplication of effort on behalf of the frequent responders here.

Check the reply you have at:
