Limiting Bandwidth
I'm using a p2p program that I want to limit the upload bandwidth on permanently, and the download temporarily (just for that application). I basically want to be able to surf and use my p2p at the same time, without seeing significant wait on the browser. Even if I can somehow "nice" the bandwidth, that'd be fine.
Any suggestions on how to achieve this would be great :) If you need some more info, please, let me know. Here is my network setup: linuxbox (Static Private IP) === Router (Dynamic WAN IP) ===== DSL Modem ===== Outside World (The scary unknown :D )... Thanks for any suggestions (I've installed Squid, but have no idea if that's a viable option, nor how to set it up to work ;) ) Cool |
Still curious...
