Angry LFS and Pegasus usb module

I build a small and efficient mini distro based on kernel 2.2.24. I compiled the Pegasus driver directly inside the kernel, but the usb-ethernet adaptar doesnt work at all.
In the dmesg output I see :
" Pegasus.c: v0.4.32 ......."
"usb.c : registered new driver pegasus"
and nothing else.

There is no eth0....probably I must modprobe some other modules ?

ps: the usb mass storages (usb hard disk and pen) works fine.

Thanks in advance

Bigge
