LDAP as domain controller for windows NT4.0/win2k/win2003 as member server

We have NT4 as our PDC. We also have winnt4/win2k/win2003 as the member servers for the NT4 Domain Controller.
If we were to migrate our NT4 to LDAP (transfer all user and group account database, etc), will all the existing member servers for the NT4 DC be able to act as member servers for the new LDAP DC?
appreciate the feedbacks.

Member server usually means the server is a member of the domain and does not provide any Domain/AD services. There is no reason why you cannot add "member servers" to a samba domain, you can also make them BDCs.

thanks for the feedback. You mean windows nt4/windows2000/windows2003 can act as member server for LDAP Domain Controller? Different OS can work in a domain and act as DC and member server? If yes, what about the application that runs on the windows member server? We have Msoft SQL server 7 installed into it which relies on user account created in our NT4 PDC.
