Laptop Cards
I need some ideas for a wireless laptop cards that are running the prism2 chipset, and some can help me install them onto it. Thanks...

I don't know if this card uses the prism2 chipset but I use the netgear MA401 and it installed out of the box with mandrake 9.2 and Knoppix.
It uses the orinoco_ps module but when I do lsmod I also see the prism module loaded....so it might...but I'm not sure.
all I know is that it works.

Hopefully it isn't on of the types of cards with the many versions...
I got a linksys usb card for my desktop and it didnt work.
Is there anything else you guys can recommend in the area of laptop cards?

I have diecided to go with Mandrake 9.2 as my Distro, can anyone recommend a laptop card that will work with a driver, or even out of the box. I have a gift card for Circuit City and i was in need of a laptop card.

I have a Longshine pc card that works perfectly on Mandrake 9.2 Did not need any tweaking at all.

as I said above, the netgear MA401 works out of the box with Mdk 9.2
and no, its not one of the cards that changes chipset last I checked.
