LAN Network connection with Slackware

Hello,
I have a wifi repeater who login automatic with a router to the internet.
This repeater has a LAN cable to my Slackware Linux Computer with KDE
and XFCE. What can I do to use the internet? My Browser don’t open any website.
Best regards
Stephan

Use
Code:
netconfig
and set up the network card to use DHCP, that should fix your problems.

I thought netconfig couldn't manage Wi-Fi connections. If I'm right then if you opted to use NetworkManager (it appeared in Slackware 14) during installation start /etc/rc.d/rc.networkmanager and use KDE GUI to setup connection. Wicd is another good option. Alternatively you can manually setup /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1.conf

Edit: just read the post more attentively - as it's just a WiFI repeater and the connection is done via an ethernet cable netconfig will work just fine.
