Lan Mail Server and remote desktop

i am new to linux i installed redhat 7.2
and curious how to set up a lan mail server and if ya can do remote desktop like vnc and radmin
i am used to a winxp os
please email me

Red Hat 7.2 comes with the Sendmail mail server programme.
All you need to do is tell it to listen to a local interface.
It will accept mail for any system user

The remote desktop is handled by installing VncServer...

Have a look at the RedHat Documentation packages to set them up...

thankyou but i forogt to mention that i have windows xp computers as well i want them to be acble to use the linux box as a mail server if that makes sence

soory been awhile since i mesaged back been on hoildays
