LAN Browsing in KDE

I get "could not connect to localhost" when I try to open lan://localhost/ any ideas?

I can connect to apache on http://localhost

and smb config on :901

seems like a cool deal if I can get it to work.

This also works

[xxxx@alpha/xxxx]$ smbclient -L pluto
added interface ip=10.0.0.1 bcast=10.0.0.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
added interface ip=11.0.0.1 bcast=11.0.0.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
Got a positive name query response from 10.0.0.2 ( 10.0.0.2 )

Problem solved

Well after carefully checking all file permissions and config files, months of despair and the agony of defeat I finally got it working.

I had to do this

[root@xxxxxxxxx /root]# lisa -K

This is the LAN Information Server LISa 0.1
It is free software according the GNU General Public License
Copyright (c) 2000 by Alexander Neundorf
email: neundorf@kde.org

running on port 7741
Have fun ! :-)

[root@xxxxxxxxx /root]#
