KVM

So I was wondering, if most datacenters or establishments with multiple server and network racks/cases use the IP based kvm switches now days? Any experience with them and how well they work.

If you want to learn how to use KVM, go to chapter 27 of this book:

https://doc.opensuse.org/documentati...irt/index.html

If you're stuck on OpenSUSE-only tasks and you use a different distribution, simply google alternatives for this task.

And here is a picture of KVM over IP:

If I explained all of this by myself, this post would be as long as the OpenSUSE book.

But these are the basics.
