ksambaplugin?

Hey guys,
I am trying to make it so I can share files between my windowsXP notebook and my mandriva 10.1 desktop. I have gotten samba running, and i shared the file i wanted to share on my linux box.
To make it easier to configure, I downloaded ksambaplugin, but when I try to start it; everything is grayed out so I cant change any of the settings. I also get the error message "local file!".

any ideas ?
thanks
Rob

You will need root privileges to run ksambaplugin

Samba also has a web based config tool called swat using port 901.
It runs from inetd/xinetd
