Angry KPPP Trouble


I'm running rh7.2 and setup everything in kppp from domain to DNS but it seems my isp doesn't use PAP or CHAP so I used terminal and i get connected fine but when I try to ping any IP including my ISP's nothing as the same with yahoo.com. I can't download webpages or anything.I have read forum after forum and tried everything, any help would be appreciated, Thanx

Alright,it seems kppp wasn't having trouble it was my modem lol.In windows it worked fine for a little while and I just got tired of messing with it and went to bed and I was thinking if the dip switches were set right because I knew what they needed to be set on so I checked and one was set wrong I flipped it and here I am
BTW, got rid of windows

try wvdial:

as root:

wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf

sorry dude but i'm not that familiar with kppp to suggest a tweak
