Knocked off of dial-up by Mozilla

My father has Debian linux installed on his computer. Dial-up was working for him until I did an update, and an upgrade. Now, after he gets on the net, he is immediately knocked off when Mozilla starts up.
The Abort conditions are:

ABORT "NO DIALTONE"
ABORT "ERROR"

You probably need to set up the Internet connection again the same way that you did it when you first installed Debian.
