kernel: r8169: eth0: Reset RTL8169s PHY

I have 2 network cards in my LM 10.1 PC. One on a 10.0.0.0/16 subnet
and one on a 192.168.1.0/24 subnet - both configured and working fine. However, the card on the 192 network is not connected to anything and I get the follwoing message virtually every minute significantly adding to the size of my log files

Sep 30 12:56:44 centurion kernel: r8169: eth0: Reset RTL8169s PHY
Sep 30 12:57:20 centurion last message repeated 3 times
Sep 30 12:58:32 centurion last message repeated 6 times
Sep 30 12:59:44 centurion last message repeated 6 times

What can I do to stop this?
Thanks
Sean
