Angry Kerberos Install Problem!


i use Fedora 4 ,
i tried to install Kerberos 5 on my machine
./configure
make
make install
after setup completed i didn't find the kdc.conf file and the kadm5.acl file!
although it was installed in /usr/kerberos and i have the following packages installed on my machine:
krb5-workstation-1.4-3
krb5-libs-1.4-3
krbafs-1.2.2-7
pam_krb5-2.1.7-3
krb5-devel-1.4-3
krbafs-devel-1.2.2-7
i hope anyone can help......

Don't understand why you're not just using a krb5-server rpm as you have all the other krb related packages but...

When you config/make/make install the source, you will find [yourprefix]/share/examples contains sample krb5.conf, kdc.conf and services.append files. You have to create your own kadm5.acl file. Did you try DESTDIR=/path/you/pick to see that install does the whole shebang ie server libs and client files are installed?

Don't think this is the route you want to take but hope above helps.
