HEY GUYS I'M HAVING A PROBLEM TRYING TO LOOK AT DISTRO REVIEWS AND I GET A ....

You don't have permission to access /reviews/index.php/cat/2 on this server.

.... Keep saying I don't have permissions even when I click on review your favorite distro Do I really need certain permissions to see that forum? if so why??

Every so often things get this. We just live with it. Sometimes they come back soon, sometimes they stay forbidden for months.

Still the same ole same ole

Yeah, still the same thing here today! Neither the Distro or Book Reviews will open without the Forbidden Screen, seems to be the only ones...
Sad, because i do like to keep up on the latest reviews and doing a bing or google search does give a daunting list of pages!!!

Since you could have just looked at the link directly above your post, and your posts look like posts a spammer would make, I've reported it.

Grow up. You're clearly and spammer/troll and you've just removed any and all doubt about that. Nice work

Spammers and trolls are two different things.

How often do either of them register and participate meaningfully in a thread, then return nine years later to voice an on-topic and genuine complaint? (albeit in the wrong place)

If they were genuinely a spammer, attempting to engage would be futile - report the post and move on.
If they were a troll, responding would be giving them what they wanted.

You can get distro information and reviews from DistroWatch.

If you specifically want an LQ perspective, you'll need to give Jeremy your feedback in the LQ Suggestions & Feedback forum (he's unlikely to see this thread).

Thank you for pointing out the obvious... I know. Just because I used a forward slash to separate the two words does not mean I'm confusing them as being one of the same thing. Please don't make such assumptions.

We clearly have a very different view of "meaningfully", I'll leave it at that.

Are you a mod now? I think I've been around long enough to know how things work, thanks. So just spare me the lectures please.
