KDE FTP upload/write error

I cannot for the life of me get KDE to upload or write to my web server. I've had this problem in Mandrake, Mepis, and Kubuntu. I can log in, view, and download files, but whenever I try to save or copy to the server, I get the error that "could not write to file" or folder. This works with gFTP and all other ftp programs.

Any ideas?

How exactly are you trying to uploda/write to your ftp server. Are you using a specific program?

I have the same trouble.

in konqueror(or other Kde aplication ) type url ftp : / / username @ ftpserv
