Just bought a Cnet ethernet card But I can't install drivers
Hey all, I just bought a Cnet ethernet card that is says that it is compatable with linux. I installed it and re-installed linux so it would pick up the new configuration, and it did, but I can't get on the 'net. It gave me a tulip driver. So I figured that I could simply install the driveres off the disk to my harddrive. No! I followed the instructions exactally, but when I get to the part where I do:
insmod xxxx
It tells me that there is no such device. Can anyone tell me where I could download some new drivers, or how to force it to install these? (I already went to the manufacturer's website)
INFO:
ethernet card: CNET PRO200
distrobution: Manrake 9.1
If you need any more info, just ask
