Jabber Server Error

im trying to configure a jabber server i have installed "jabberd-1.4.3.tar"
i put it in /usr/local and run
./configure

after doing that i get following error

=====================================
Searching for SSL..... Disabled
Searching for IPv6.... Disabled
Getting Pth Settings....../configureth-config: command not found
./configureth-config: command not found
./configureth-config: command not found
./configureth-config: command not found

GNU pth(1.4.0 or new) is not currently installed
GNU Pth is required for building Jabberd

No version of Pth is available on the system
http://www.gnu.org/Software/pth/Setting Building Parameter......Done
Generating Setting Script.......Done
You may now type 'make' to build your new Jabber Settings

===========================================

Now can any one tell me wats that

how can i solve my pth problem.??????

what is there to ask? it says you don't have pth installed, and that it needs pth to be installed. so therefore, install pth.
