Issue in getting IP address after Kernel Update

Hello,

I updated my Linux Kernel from 2.6 to 3.8.7 and after doing so am not able to get network IP address.
It says "Device not mapped in NetworkManager"

Regards,
Ankit Singh

I would suggest a quick re-install/upgrade of Networkmanager if you really want to use it, you could be on a version that doesnt work with the new kernel.

A yum upgrade or apt-get upgrade would probably do the trick here.
