ISP has changed static ip address of web server

Hello all

I am a total Linux newbe so any help you can give me would be much appreciated.

Our ISP has changed our static ip addresses for all our services. One static ip is used for our MS SBS2003 server for mail and OWA, this server is configure to go through our Fortinet router and I have made the required changes with no problem

However our web server is not connected to the Fortinet and is connected directly to our IPS cable via a switch.

Our DNS records have been changed to reflect the new static ip addresses.

I have managed to change the ip address of the web server from the old ip address to the new address and cannot connect to it. This leads be to believe that there is a firewall installed.

I have confirmed that Shorewall version 2.0.17 is installed but I do not know how to edit it to reflect the new ip address.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure there is a simple yes no answer. The person who set it up should know. They should have left documentation also.

Since I assume they didn't then you need to now learn shorewall and then decide how it used to work, if it is now how you want it to work and then configure it. Then document it for future maybe.

Very basic first step may be to see this. http://shorewall.net/configuration_f...ics.htm#Levels
