ISDN problem Eicon Diva 2.01 ISA S/T
I've installed ISDN and HiSax (for my Eicon Diva 2.01 ISA S/T) as modules. I can start them with <insmod isdn> and <insmod hisax>. At boot-time isapnp gives:
isanp: looking for PnP cards
isapnp: "Eicon Diva 2.01 ISA S/T"
isapnp; total 1 cards found
So I assume that isapnp is well configured. When I load the isdn and HiSax modules no error messages are displayed. Now, when I usse kppp (a KDE tool to setup your properties for your ISP etc.) I have to choose my modem. I can choose between:
/dev/modem
/dev/ttyI0
/dev/ttyI1
/dev/ttyI2
/dev/ttyI3
Everytime I want to connenct with one of the ttyI* It says:
Modem ready
Initializing....
dialing 0676001505
...nothing happends. When I pick-up two telephone lines; I still have a Dial-tone. (When my computer was realy dialing, one of the two telephones can't give a dial-tone.)
Now I believe my ISDN-card is somehow not connected to ttyI* or something like that that is in /dev.
Now I don't know If this is correct or that I've done something wrong somehow. If I'm correct, how do I set my ISDN-card as a ttyI*?
please help me, I'm desperate.
