ISDN connection woes

I’ve installed Mandrake 10 Official and have configured the internet connection (ELSA ISDN PCI card) – the system worked fine with previous Mandrake versions but doesn’t now – even after applying the ISDN patch from the Mdk website.

On 10, I can connect with my ISP (BTYahoo) but get redirected to a holding area because they cannot authenticate my login. All my details are correct but I noticed that I didn’t have any option to select CHAP protocol when originally setting up the connection.

Log messages are: -

May 19 07:32:39 localhost kernel: isdn: Verbose-Level is 2
May 19 07:32:40 localhost rc: Starting isdnlog: succeeded

May 19 07:37:18 localhost kernel: isdn_net: ippp0 connected

On previous logs I’ve seen a message saying no CHAP set up for this user, but it wasn’t present this morning.

The weird thing is net_monitor says I’m not connected, but the graph shows I am, Gkrellm shows ippp0 active and I can get this ISP redirection message!

Any hellp would be appreciated!

Thanks.
