is this legal: can still ping eth1 through eth0, even if eth1 cable is unplugged
so eth0 and eth1 ate up after reboot,
i unplug eth1,
from host i can still ping eth1.
Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface

Yes. You can ping any internal network interface as long as it is are up; that is, enabled in the kernel device table and able to receive packets as is the case from the same system in which they exist.

No it is not legal, I would check out the window to see if there are
any helicopters or strange vans with large antennae.
