Is this a bad thing? :reguarding ppp_mppe

Yeah I was wondering I get this message when i run dmesg

stager# dmesg |grep ppp_mppe
stager# ppp_mppe: module not supported, tainting kernel
in not sure if that is a bad thing i remember reading tainting kernel being alright but module not support concerns and may be the reason I cant conncect to my schools vpn. Thanks ryan.
