Is there a tool to c linux GUI in Windows.


Hi,
Is there a tool where i can c linux GUI in windows ... I use telnet to access it ... where as if i want to run some GUI application its not possible coz telnet uses only text....

I need it so can somebody tell me is there tool ...

telnet only uses text...? hmm.. that's a new one on me.

you want VNC or XWin32 or something similar. search on google for them.

FYI it is spelt "see", not "c".

If you want to remotly access a graphical program running on a remote Linux box under Windows you have two main options.

(1) VNC - this gives you a desktop in a window
http://www.tightvnc.com/
(2) Run an X server on the Windows box and use ssh to log in
http://www.cygwin.com/

Even tightvnc is good option it is very slow. you can use software like reflection(which you need to buy but there are free once too.) which emulates the xterm so you can use all gui apps on linux box.

how about you actually just use a search engine to find it yourself?
