is it possible to Stream from laptop to PC XBMC


I am not even sure if thisis the proper place to ask this but I want to try and stream videos and or music from my laptop to my PC ( and vice versa) through the XBMC , both systems are using linux my laptop uses open suse and my PC is using linux xmint cinamin .

xbmc has a dlna server... it worx with my fone (via allshare, youtube, c|net apps). i guess if the laptop has a dlna client it should work just the same.

i think the easiest way would be sharing xbmc <-> xbmc ?

I am very rusty at linux and have forgotten most of what I have learn so this question might seem stupid but what is a dina client and how can I tell if I have one?

dlna isnt really a linux thing... it is just a way to play content from one device on another (or vice-versa)... apple calls it airplay.
