Question irq 11 conflicts

i have run into a few problems:
1. Ethernet card detected on eth0 and eth1
2. ethernet card seems to slow all operations down, if i boot without the pcmcia ethernet card the system works fine.
3. sound card is not working, i have read some issues with the ethernet card and the sound card having conflicts. the sound is not required the net is.
I have a 3com fe575c and a yahama sound card.
this is on a laptop (panasonic toughbook cf-71)

i also looked in the /proc/interrupts and found that
usb, sound, and both pcmcia slots(one with the 3com card)
operate on irq 11

can i correct this in the kernel, or by any other means

i hope you can help.

I can't give you an answer myself, but you might find some helpful info here.
