IPTables Slow Web Server

I have IPTables setup on my web server with Policy set to DROP all Packets except for port 443. Each link I click is very, very slow.

If I turn the policy to accept it comes right up.

Any Thoughts?

DNS ports need to be allowed through too... outward and inward...

Have a look at /var/log/messages to see if any other packets are being dropped.
tail -f /var/log/messages
