Angry iptables -m owner target problem

OK
Code:
iptables -t nat -I POSTROUTING -m owner --uid-owner 500 -o ppp0 -j SNAT --to-source xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
I used to be able to use this to change the ip address that some of my users use. But now it doesn't work. I get a:
Code:
iptables: Target problem
Why???
Anybody

By the way ipt_owner is compiled as a moduled and loaded.

hi.
you are using ppp0 as output i/f
usually it has dynamic ip and in such case SNAT is not allowed - use MASQUERADE
maybe it is a problem
