IPTABLES and PortForwarding

Hey yall,

I am not a noob, but I am sure this question will make it look like I am. I am trying to get MSN Messenger to be able to send files. I can recieve them no problem but I can't send them out. I am using Mandrake 8.2 on my linux box and I am using IPTABLES and MASQ. I have ports 6891-6900 being forwarded to my computer that has MSN messenger on it but that doesn't work! I know my port forwarding is right because I have another port being forwarded for a game I play and that works fine. I can host all kinds of games. I am not sure what else I have to do to make this work. Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

MSN Messenger may use different ports when receiving and different ports for sending. You may not have everything forwarded. To see what's wrong you may use tcpdump and see what is your machine sending. Then you can forward more ports.
Just a guess, I don't use MSN Messenger. :)
