IPCop OpenVPN drops connections

Hi folks,

I have configured Zerina OpenVPN 0.9.5b on IPCop 1.4.18 firewall. I set it up as per the "how to" guide on the zerina site, and added an internal route to my vpn host server.
On my Windows XP client systems I am running OpenVPN gui V1.0.3.
At first everyhting was OK but after a few days the clients started dropping the connection after about 5 seconds. They now do this reliably every time. There are no errors displayed in either the client or server logs - the client and OpenVPN server both say they are still connected (green). Nothing has been changed on any of the servers, firewall, or clients (no patches or service packs added). Pinging the Green subnet or OpenVPN subnet gateway (e.g.10.10.10.1) works OK for around 5 seconds and then I get "TTL expired in transit"

I rebuilt both IPCop server and client machines and they still have exactly the same problem!
The really anoying thing was that it all worked perfectly to start off with!
Has anyone else any ideas, or had this problem (and solved it)?
Many thanks in advance...

Cheers, Steve
