Hi folks,

I have a Url registered with no-ip for a webserver that I host on my linux box. Now since my ISP does not allow for the standard Http port I had to host my webserver on another port.

As a result , I also had to register a redirect Url with no-ip so that my friends can just type redirect.name instead of websvr.nameort.

Anyway, long story short, the redirect used to work fine for a long time until today morning. I dont remember changing anything except yesterday I had to take the boxmdown for some maintenance. It was offline the whole day.

anyone clues to what could be the problem?

Did you get a different ip from you isp after you brought the box back on line.

You got a different DHCP lease when you shut it down and restarted it. You'll need to figure out what your new IP is and change it with no-ip.
