Question IP forwarding

hi
i have two seperate network. One is for local network and another one is for broadband internet connection. I use the RedHat Linux 9.0 for internet connection. I am able to access internet in that machine. I want to access the internet from the other network(local) machines. i have two network cards installed in the linux machine. we tried to configure the network cards.
After rebooting the machine the IP forwading service is disabled. can any body give a solution to how to make the service enabling the IP forwarding automatically in startup.

regards
Kumar

Using RedHat, edit the "/etc/sysconfig/network" script.
Look for the line with FORWARD_IPV4 and set it to yes.
When you reboot, IPv4 forwarding will be enabled.

by hand, the command

echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward

will do the trick.

I hope I could helped.
