Ip Address VPN Router Issue
Hi All
I am very new to Linux so please bear with me I have a running Red Hat Linux 7.2 server which is used as a web/mail server and firewall for my internal network. We are currently using a cisco router with a fixed ip address for our internet connection. We are installing a vpn and need to change routers in our office, our service provider has supplied us with a new fortinet router and new ip addressess. Could anyone please help me with what settings I need to change on my server in order to get it back online again, as once wee change the routers we can no longer connect to the internet. Any help regarding this would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you John |
we can't tell you what to change can we? we've no idea what the original settings where and what they've been changed to...

hi there
try to contact your ISP for additional info, ask them if you need to have any settings need to be checked. reply asap to this post ;) |
I have not made any changes yet, I am basically asked your advice as to what would need to be changed if the isp has supplied me with new ip adressess.
I am still using my old router with the old ip addressess until I have an idea of what must be changed. Thanks |
your question is *really* vague... we need more information to go on here, we can't just say "click the green button, not the red one"...
