Internet, WinXP-Server Linux-Client

At my place we got two PC's, one is Windows XP with a program installed called All Aboard, allowing me (the other PC) to surf on the net. I installed Linux recently and I want Linux to surf on the net as well. Is that possible? I don't need a special client program to surf on the net.

I'm not sure how does that All Aboard work, but you may try to setup Windows XP as your gateway, in confugration program or using the console:
route del default
route add default gw win_ip_here

I got it working now, I deleted my dsn name and domain and enabled automatic dns, it worked.

DNS

Hey ray you have it working now Good job!

Can you explain the DNS problem for me?

LoneWolf58 09-12-2002 09:11 AM

It seems All Aboard didn't like it that I used my own DNS name and domain so I allowed it to choose the DNS name and domain for me. And so it worked.
