Internet sharing from OS X to RH 7.3

Ok well I just recently got a PC(two actually) and now am only using my Mac(G3 400MHz ) to share its internet connection to my other comps, since my PC's don't have modems(don't ask ... gonna get some on an order when I build a comp for a friend).

My question is, how do I set up my Linux computer to use the connection that my Mac is sharing. I can just click on IE after a restart on XP and then I am on the net, but with linux I have seen it is different . I am using RH 7.3 and Mac OS X. Thanks for the help

You can use RedHat's Network Configuration GUI tool.

In the menu, under System, look for Network Configuration
Or
Open a console window and type redhat-config-network

You will need to configure eth0.
It may already be there, if not, click Add and go from there.

Well I went though a very long process of gettin my ethernet card seen by Linux, and had it activated yestarday, but it now seems to not work again. It won't allow me to activate it, and it says that there is no such device. :(

Open a console window and type dmesg | grep eth
All of the detected ethernet cards will be displayed.

Are you using DHCP to obtain an IP automatically or do you want to set a static IP for your Linux box.
