Lightbulb internet sharing between two RHL 7.2 !!!

Hello friends,

First of all i'm trying to do internet sharing between tor RHL system(both are 7.2)

thanks but still problem,

here with more detail,

asumed that i have got two system,

1--->system 1

with

eth0=210.211.136.8/255.255.255.192(direct inernet connection)

gateway=210.211.136.1
dns=210.211.136.2
61.1.33.32
61.1.32.128

eth1=10.0.9.1/255.255.0.0(for home network)

gateway=10.0.9.1
dns=210.211.136.2
61.1.33.32
61.1.32.128

2---->system 2

eth0=10.0.9.2
gateway=?
and
DNS=?

now here what should be gateway and dns in system 2

asumed my eth0=10.0.9.2(ofsystem 2 with cate5)is connected with system1(eth1=10.0.9.1) .

and i include host in both system
/etc/hosts

now i can able ping to both side.with host name also.

here i can able to ping with no dns and gateway required....

but when sit on system 2 and trying to access internet it;s show this error,

[system2]#ping www.yahoo.com

unkonw host www.yahoo.com

how what else i have to do to get internet work from system2 to system 1
as i said i'm confused what wi'll be the gateway and dns of system2 ,so i can get internet.

and tell me more how to setup firewall in this secnerio..

please help me...

Thanks in Adv.....

On sys2
Put your ISPs DNS (210.211.136.2) on system 2 and the gateway as 10.0.9.1

On sys 1
You will need to enable IP forwarding:
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward

iptables to forward requests from eth0 to eth1.

From system 2 can you ping 64.179.4.146? (This is the LQ server) if you can but you ar estill unable to ping www.linuxquestions.org then you have a dns problem.

If you can't ping 64.179.4.146 then post the output from the following on both machines (you may want to mask your external ip address but don't mask the internal ones):
ifconfig
route
iptables -L
cat /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward
