Internet Sharing
I am currently running Fedora core 1. I am using iptables to share the internet. I can't access the internet on other pcs on my network, i have set the ip, subnet mask, the gateway and dns.
I am taking it that the firewall may be blocking the ip_forwarding? If someone can help much appreciated.

Hi Dimega,
My suggestion is the following:
- access the link http://easyfwgen.morizot.net/gen/. It is an online firewall generator. Answer the questions about your network and it will give you the proper firewall script for your access server. - keep your local machines other than the access server without firewall.
Best regards.

Thanks alot, having spending several hours on this it, the internet sharing is finally working. Once again thanks.
Any ideas why it wasn't working before hand? was it just because of the firewall?

Hi Dimega,
Did you put the masquerade rule? Compare both scripts to see the differences.
