Internet Problems

I have been using Mandrake 10 for a couple of months now, running KDE 3.2 as my GUI, and just recently i installed a new network card. I have dialup internet and it has been working fine up untill now when I installed the new network card. The internet still connects using KPPP fine, but when ever i go into Mozilla or any other browser it is like I am not connected and no pages will load. I have tried setting the DNS settings but that did not help. I am thinking it is trying to connect via the new network card instead of the modem, is there someway to change this and make it use the dialup connection rather than LAN?

G'day cobber,

Not sure if the solution is to be found here, but have you had a look in KDE Control Centre?

Thee might be some settings in there which the NIC has upset.

If you don't use your NIC run:
ifconfig eth0 down
